" The Mask"

This shows the masculine form that plays in Kathakalli, a sacred dance in India. The mask takes hours to paint and is one the most distinguishable aspects of this type of Kerala dance form. The intention of this painting is to show the expressions and passion of the dancer.

"Katha Kalli of a Woman"

Kathakalli literally means " story play," and is an unique Indian sacred dance form. The performance are based on incidents contained in sacred Sanskrit classics.

Mother's Masterpiece

Through out the intensive and intimate journey from conception to birth, the fetus is a creation molded by the influences of the mother. Mother and child bonding is a complex physiological process that involves not just the mother’s heart, but also her brain, hormones, nerves, and almost all of her body. This painting represents the process of fetal growth and how the mother’s womb is a vital biological cradle for the developing fetus.

Heart and lungs

This my first attempt in doing a medical illustration. I tried to capture two of the most vital organs: the heart and lungs. The partnership of these organs are responsible in the transfer of nutrients and oxygen all over the body which are significant to survival. These amazing structures work inspite tobacco smoke, alcohol, sugars and fat. We should know how much we are taking advantage of these strong but such delicate structures.

David in the Dark

This painting was a study of a white molding of Michael Angelo's David. Different lights were pointed toward the figure, which showed how the colors blended with each other, making a white figure colorful from all angles.
